New York — — New York is officially the home of Stephen Tully, a rookie who’s starting the NFL season at quarterback.
Stephen Tully was the top pick of the Giants in the first round (No. 11 overall) in the NFL draft in 2017, and has been a part of the team since the beginning of the season.
He’s made nine starts this season, throwing for 3,932 yards and 17 touchdowns with five interceptions.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Tully had a big role in the Giants’ winning last season.
The Giants’ offense ranked first in the league in passing yards and third in points per game, and led the NFL in passing touchdowns with 34.
Stephen is in the final year of his rookie contract, and his playing time could be limited in the coming weeks.
He has yet to play a snap this season.
Tully has a history of concussions, which has forced him to learn the game in a much different way.
He missed the entire 2017 season because of a concussion, but returned to start the 2018 season and threw for 1,958 yards and 14 touchdowns in two games.
Tulloch has also had concussions this year.
The 6-3 quarterback suffered a concussion in Week 5 against the Chicago Bears.
He did not return for Week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals.
