A few years ago, I was sitting on my couch in a bar in NYC and a man walked in.
He said, “Hello, how are you doing?”
I was just like, “Yeah, well I’ve been really busy with the family, so I’m not feeling well.”
He said “Are you still making dresses?”
And I said, I’m making silk scarves for Valentine.
He was like, you’re going to love them!
I went to his office and started making silk dresses.
We had about 10 dresses on the first floor and I made them all for him.
He loved them, he loved them so much, he was like “You should do this all the time.
We have so many amazing women who are willing to share their personal style with us.”
I remember when he was making his silk scarfs, he had to use a sewing machine to sew each of them.
It was just such a simple thing, and he just loved it.
Now, I have three scarves that I make.
He has the perfect scarves and it’s such a good thing to have a personal style and personal experience with.
He’s a real gentleman and he’s such an inspiration to me.
And I can’t wait to show him my silk scarf!
And I don’t even need to ask him how he did it!
